Now, wait a minute, Mr CEO: Aren't you getting your ridiculously large salary and bonuses exactly to do that? And don't we have an in house Business Consulting division which supposedly advices other companies on their strategy to do that for us?
Now, you want to waste a few millions, paying the consultants who will give advice which everyone already knows.
I guess having a pricey consultant from a known company is going to make you look good when you present your strategy to the Board.
